We couldn’t be prouder of West Lynn FC Blacks, a local grassroots football team we sponsor, who were crowned U10 champions at the UK’s biggest youth football tournament, ESF at Butlin’s Skegness.
The ESF festivals are the largest of their kind in the UK, bringing together over 1,000 grassroots teams every year to compete, connect and celebrate the beautiful game. Held over the bank holiday weekend, the tournament at Skegness offered an unforgettable few days of football, fun and fierce competition, where our U10s rose to the challenge with heart, grit and incredible teamwork.
The players put in an amazing shift across the weekend, playing their socks off in every match and showing the kind of team spirit and determination that makes us proud to support them. Their hard work paid off when they were crowned winners of their age group and came home with medals and memories, as well as a well-earned trophy.
Even more exciting, their victory means they’ve now qualified for the ESF Grand Finale this July at St George’s Park, the official home of the England national football teams. It’s a serious achievement, and not just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play at a world-class facility, but also a sign that their passion and dedication is paying off in a big way.
At Nextgen, we specialise in all things digital marketing, but community is always at the heart of everything we do. Supporting local grassroots sport isn’t just about giving back. It’s about helping young people build confidence, stay active, learn the value of teamwork, and experience the joy of being part of something bigger than themselves.
Whether we’re launching bespoke digital campaigns or cheering from the sidelines, we believe success comes from supporting potential and nurturing talent, and that’s exactly what grassroots football is all about.
We’re buzzing for the team and everything they’ve achieved so far, and we’ll be right behind them as they head to St George’s Park for the Grand Finale in July. Whatever happens next, they’ve already made us proud.
Now go shine on the national stage!
